The St. Joseph County Juvenile Justice Center (JJC) is dedicated to protecting the safety of the community by providing the appropriate treatment and rehabilitation for the children and families of our county.
Friends of the JJC is a non profit group that raises money to support the JJC and initiatives for the youth who are serviced by the JJC.
There are occasions when the court and/or detention staff will identify needs to better support the Juveniles served that are not within the budget. These items can include programs such as tutoring, support for the reading & writing, music, art, and/or athletics. This also includes additional gym equipment that are safe for the staff and juveniles served.
