Current Initiatives
There are occasions when the court and/or detention staff will identify needs to better support the Juveniles served that are not within the budget. These items can include programs such as tutoring, support for the reading & writing, music, art, and/or athletics. This also includes additional gym equipment that are safe for the staff and juveniles served.

FOJJC Supports the Girl Scouts of
Northern Indiana-Michiana
Girl Scouts programming is heavily funded by the sale of their cookies which was interrupted this year due to COVID. The Friends of the JJC Board was proud to support Girl Scouts of Northern Indiana-Michiana by purchasing cookies for the staff and residents of the Juvenile Justice Center.
